Trista Stamness
Director | Teacher | Teacher Trainer

Trista Stamness is a sought after teacher, leader, and staff developer both locally and nationally. She brings 20+ year of experience and expertise getting high academic results with ALL learners. She has taught preschool-adults and continues to partner with schools as an executive coach to assist building organic reading cultures within Pre K-12th grade and purposeful instructional platforms to get high personalized learning outcomes within any level of school system. She is most proud to have coached 3 MN schools to earn Reward School Status from the Minnesota Department of Education.

 

Trista brings a "results oriented" curriculum and instructional expertise both as a teacher and teacher trainer beyond the ordinary. Her understanding of learning and growing student knowledge and thinking skills will wow you!

Louisa Papke-Norton is our Lead teacher with a Bachelor of Science from University of Minnesota Crookston. She studied health systems management. She brings so much STEM thinking into her classroom with extra knowledge of using microscopic technique. Her vast past experience working in anatomy and pathology research labs pours over into her lessons. Her passions about biology and the health science field simply overflow into her classroom. Louisa loves sharing love for songs, reading, and all things science with her students. She is very keen on observing each child unique interests and their best way to learn. She loves to reach their individual personality with unique projects they will love.

Taylor Stamness, Teacher

Taylor Stamness has been with EPIC from the start in 2016! She started as an aide and fell in love with teaching young kids! She graduated from Mayo High School in 2020 and is currently completing her teaching degree at Winona State. She has a knack for art and design and loves to share her talents with students. Taylor always has a calm and compassionate heart. Students love her caring personality. She is exemplary at observing positive attributes of each student's personality to foster learning. Your child is sure to enjoy her kindness.

Corina Evans Asst. Teacher

Corina Evans is our Asst. Teacher with multiple early childhood years of experience. She is super with read aloud stories for children and engages students quickly with her ability adjust for character voices. She has patience with all ages and fosters a child's independence in a gentle manner. She love crafts and shares so many fun ideas with EPIC scholars your child is sure to be amazed. 

Alexa Wesely Teacher

Alexa Wesely is our aide who graduated from Rochester Public Schools. She comes to us with much experience with working with kids and loves to help kids playing games or doing projects. She has a hospitality background and it shows daily as she greets families and their child with warm welcome and such a smile of happiness. Her smile connects with kids as she builds great relationships with children.

Hailey Evans Asst. Teacher

Hailey Evans is our Asst. Teacher who is currently completing a business management degree. She brings to us a hospitality background we love and students do, too. She is very creative, energetic and share her love for learning new things. She gets scholars excited about many learning topics and fosters many projects with them. Hailey loves making connections with each student as they are learning new things. Hailey carries a personality of joy with her everywhere and students as well as parents love it!
